It was 3.am in the morning when Dana Puscoci , a fellow rescuer living in Romania heard the knocking on her front door.
First, she tried to ignore it and go back to the sleep but it becomes louder and louder…
When she opens the door , she founds her neighbour in panick and asking for her help ;
A dog has been crying outside for hours and hours , she had caught her back leg in a fence. They needed her help getting her out.
What Dana encounters in the place shown by her neigbour surpasses anything we have ever seen in Turkey.
Jeny , a bigger senior dog was caught by her hind leg was there in agonizing pain in the cold Romanian winter asking help from people that she feared the most.

We don’t know how Jeny ended up in such a state however clearly there was no time for questions.
Dana, without hesitating tries to release her and take her to the clinic.
Afraid and bewildered by the pain , Jeny tries to bite her.
At this point many of the rescuers would simply throw the ball to another , running away from the responsability.
Not Dana.
Jeny’s reaction does not intimidate her ; she calls the vet ambulance for help and with the help of her neighbour , they release Jeny’s leg and carry the immense weight.
Ressurrected by the adrenaline of the events ,
Jeny runs away one more time but Dana and her friend keep an eye on her until the help arrives.
The wait is long however they do not abandon…
The vet ambulance takes 2 hours to arrive to the place where Dana and her friend are patiently waiting in the incredible cold.
JENY is taken to the safety of the clinic.
During the consultation it becomes clear that Jeny’s leg is horribly fractured by the accident AND she is PREGNANT.

Up until now , all our cases came from Turkey , but Jeny’s situation and the urgency of her medical needs surpasses the boundaries we have set in our minds for our operations.
Animal rescue should not have boundaries.
Jeny is now in the clinic in Romania.
Tonight the doctors will perform a difficult surgery to help her walk again and deal with the consequences of her horrific accident.
We find our-selves in the need to call out for help for her situation as without our friends amazing help she would most likely end up in a most difficult situation.

Please let’s mend the ill fate JENY found her-self the victim of and let’s show the entire world that impossible is only a word.
We thank you for not leaving us and Jeny alone at this time and would like to remind you that the updates will be shared through our page and email to our contributors after the operation.
Thank you !!!
