Claudia is a stray kitty that one can meet in every street in Turkey.
She is a beautiful young female cat that has been born in the streets and learned to trust people who leave her food at the corner of her street.Soon Claudia becomes a familiar face to the neighbour , her sweet personality and friendly nature attracts people and helps her to survive in the street by the help of a few good hearted human that would not forget her daily portion.
Claudia’s life was similar to millions of stray cat living in Turkey…
Life as a stray provided CLAUDIA total freedom but it also had its challenges ; hunger, being exposed to the dangers of a chaotic world and animal abusers to count a few.
One day the expected happened ; Claudia had a terrible accident that took her entire tail and injured her in a horrible way ; the anatomic part named ‘’anus ‘’ that is helping her keep a sane digestive circle has been lost in the accident …
Imagine the pain she had to go through ; Claudia lived with parts of her intestines out for a long time in the street having lost one of the essential parts of her body.
The accident also broke her leg on 2 different parts ;
2 different fractures
These fractures prevent Claudia walking straight and enjoying her feline agility at its maximum.
When our friend brought Claudia to the clinic the doctors discovered in shock that her urinary bladder was not in the place it was supposed to be ; Claudia had had a huge physical impact indeed ; the bladder was now pressing to the rectal end and easing the rectum to prolapse out of her body.
Claudia was extremely lucky to have met our friend who brought her to the clinic to adress all her problems.
She is now with us and will have a major surgery to fix her prolapsing rectum ; the fractures of her leg will also be adressed.
Without going through this surgery , life is impossible for Claudia.
We invite all our friends who kindly gave us a hand in helping these beautiful souls in the past to help us help Claudia the kitty ….

CLAUDIA’s operation will have multiple steps .
They will ;
Fix the rectum
Fix the fractured parts of her leg
They will consider fixing her bladders place in order to prevent the prolapse to reoccur.
She will then go to a foster family in order to be rehabilitated until she can go to a forever family.

I have a knot in the pit of my stomach reading this. I do hope that enough funds are raised to save this beautiful girl. Poor thing and what a life but I’m so glad to find that there are people, such as yourself, out there, doing everything they can to make a difference. My prayers are with her.
