‘’…You have lost the place you called your home.The familiar faces with whom you walked,run with and play with are no longer there…It is dark,cold…The smells that made you think you will be fed,nurtered and cared for are gone.

It is getting late and you feel your hunger is eating you from inside like a hundred maggots , you are craving ; craving love,craving safety.

Suddenly you find your-self surrrounded by a pack.They are hungry just like you ; your primal instincts are telling you to run faster than the light…It is too late ; you have trespassed their boundary. The pain burns you like a wild fire and then everything fades.

Hours follow each other , you wait there unable to move your limbs , you dream of your home…A silhouette approaches you… ‘’

This is what Jet went through a couple of days ago.

Jet is a  labrador of 2 years old born and taken care of by someone until that someone decided they had enough of him…And per custom, he has been abandoned to his fate in the dark alleys of Istanbul.

Not knowing how to survive on the street by him-self, he has been violently attacked by a pack of stray dogs .

Jet could have slowly died in the field where the pack took almost 1/5 of is skin.

He waited there,unable to move and open to all dangers until our friend came to his rescue.Jet was luckily protected by another dog ; a female golden labrador mix that we called ‘’Jasper’’ and thanks to her survived the vicious attack.

Jet’s situation is tragic because of more than 1 reason;

Jet is a dumped pure breed , he was most probably bought from a pet shop until the people he thought was his family left him.

Jet waited for a full 24 hours until someone decide to do something.Sad but the apathy of human race is forever surprising us ..

His wounds are grave ; because Jet strayed without medical care , his wounds made an abscess and got infected to a point where the lack of skin make us consider skin grafting to deal with the damage done.

     Today once again, we are calling our friends to join us helping , this time helping a      soul that did not know how to protect him-self from the cruel damage because his     temparement was simply too calm for a life in wildness .
