Our most urgent need is local foster homes.
Fostering animals in need may be an unknown concept to many of you.
Foster families take care of animals in need temporarily until they find a forever family.That way while we are looking for families for them,they spend their time socializing without worrying about the dangers in the city streets.
You create a very special bond with the rescue you are fostering,
when you see your friend purrring (or barking) happily in his new home,knowing that you played the biggest role in creating his new life is a sensation without similar..
You can volunteer as a foster family for our rescues that you read the stories at the home page.Believe this;they need YOU more than anyone else.

Being retired military and my husband soon to retire, and being overseas and seeing the animals there this is a great thing your doing. My family and i would love to help, I am a groomer in Kanata, i do have 2 children ages 6 and 8 so i am not sure if that is ok with fostering. Just dogs please, husband is allergic to cats
